Shine the third artist album by Parov Stelar gratifies life´s movements and moods perfectly, the new the old. What we already know about Parov Stelar and what we don´t know. This is obvious to Marcus Füreder aka Parov Stelar too. Sampling Charleston and Jazz, conjuring up new Breakbeat and Pop into a creation of interesting music is no easy task, but Parov Stelar seems to have a sensibility about what it should sound like. Thankfully his worldwide fans agree as the Cinderella story of a new unheard artist from Austria´s third largest city Linz shows no sign of slowing down. In fact, things can only snow roll more as word gets around of the brilliant new music of Parov Stelar. Fans will enjoy traditional Parov Stelar tracks that offer sexiness and sophistication, these same fans will be delighted that this artist is not standing still and resting on his laurels and just repeating the same sound as he gets a little rougher and dirtier in places. This is not elevator music, this is not lounge, this is simply good music with influences and cognitive factors far and wide. Success in something in this case only encourages Parov Stelar to move forward and not to stand still. |

Dusty - Café am Hochhaus Munich Der Labelgründer von Jazz & Milk zählt zu den gefragtesten Freestyle-DJs. Neben seiner Partyreihe "Jazz & Milk Breaks" im Zerwirk (mit internationalen Gästen wie Nickodemus, Zero dB, Diesler, The Hi-Fly Orchestra, Romanowski) und seinen Produktionen, betreibt er das Jazz & Milk Label. Seit dessen Gründung kann er auf mehrere erfolgreiche Veröffentlichungen (die nicht nur durch die Musik, sondern auch durch das Artwork bestechen) und Remixe zurückblicken. Als DJ ist er nicht nur in Deutschland bekannt und gefragt. Er machte sich auch international, mit Auftritten beim Roskilde Festival in Kopenhagen, oder in Clubs in London und Basel einen Namen. Dusty verbindet Breakbeats mit einer Mischung aus Funk, Jazz und Latin wie kaum ein zweiter und bringt mit diesem exotischen Mix regelmäßig die Tanzfläche zum brennen!

| Trumpeter Thomas Siffling meanwhile is an inherent part of the German jazz scene and because of his creative output it is impossible to imagine the scene without him. He is furthermore said to be a borderliner between various genres. For example, he has committed himself to combining electronic elements and influences within a jazz context. With the latest album “cruisen” the Thomas Siffling Trio (Markus Faller drums / percussion, Jens Loh upright bass) presents a delightful easy going Nu Jazz with a high musical ambition and substance. In short: a young and contemporary German Jazz and music to relax, groove and feel good! After being granted with the jazz award of Baden-Wuerttemberg in 2005, Siffling drew attention to his CD “kitchen music” (released in January 2007), by touring not only Germany but also the European and North American foreign countries, such as Canada, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria and Norway. In November 2008 the Trio gave various festival guest performances in India and Sri Lanka. With the latest album „cruisen“ the Thomas Siffling Trio (Markus Faller drums / percussion, Jens Loh upright bass) presents a delightful easy going Nu Jazz with a high musical ambition and substance. In short: a young and contemporary German Jazz and music to relax, groove and feel good! The sound spectrum of the CD is amplified by the Hungarian vocalist Veronika Harcsa with her sonorous and sensual voice and by the master of electronic keys Xaver Fischer.
